Hi!  My name is Christy, and I’d like to welcome you to my blog.  I’m sure that you will get to know more about me by reading my posts, but, for the moment, I’ll tell you that this blog is a space to get all of the things I’m thinking out of my head and into the universe.  Trauma has sort of been the defining characteristic of my life, thus far, and with trauma come all sorts of thoughts and feelings and understandings that are very affecting.  This blog is a place for me to get that stuff out–to share experiences and insights, connect with those who have similar stories, educate those who have very different stories, and to work through what I think and feel.  So, feel free to come along for the ride.  It might be bumpy at times, but I’m certain the destination will be absolutely beautiful!
